Able to connect to your Wi-Fi, the Sonos Playbar supports streaming services and can be controlled through your phone’s Sonos App. Supporting only Dolby technology, the Playbar also features two Ethernet ports for more reliable connectivity.

The HW-M650 is the latest of the Samsung soundbars to be produced. While there are both optical and auxiliary inputs, there are not additional optional HDMI inputs, so only one audio source can be hard-wired to the device at a time. (You can stream music or video services to the soundbar, however, thanks to the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.) The HW-M650 is a 9-speaker soundbar, each with its own dedicated driver. With distortion canceling technology, the soundbar rings clear and true. Using Samsung’s Multi-room App, you can stream sound from anywhere in the house. Alexa voice control means you also have hands-free access and control of the Samsung HW-M650. To conserve power, it also auto-powers down if no signal is received for 5 minutes.
Pros:
Clear sound, including rich bass tones, thanks to Samsung’s distortion canceling technology.Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity allow you to stream more options, Alexa voice control, and more. Easy set-up will have your soundbar mounted and running quickly, just don’t mount it upside down for reasons we explained in our other guide.

Dolby Atmos is not supported by the Samsung 3.0 HW-M650. The HW-M650 is heavier and slightly bulkier than other soundbars currently on the market.

With HDMI, digital optical and stereo inputs, as well as an HDMI ARC output, the YAS-108 offers a range of options. It also supports DTS Visual, which is the DTS version of 3D surround sound.

Yamaha has not yet created a mobile app for control and easy integration of the YAS-108.Design does not focus on stylish-ness.

8. Sonos Beam
The Sonos Beam includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology that allow you to integrate your system with the Sonos App and utilize Alexa voice controls. If you are looking to expand from a soundbar to a full home theater surround sound system, the Beam integrates easily with other Sonos home theater products. As with other Sonos products, Dolby Atmos is not supported with the Beam. Unlike many other products on this list, the Sonos Beam allows you to connect directly to your Ethernet. While Wi-Fi is often preferred because it reduces cabling, connecting directly to your Ethernet provides a much more stable connection in many areas.
Pros:

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable, the ZVOX SB500 allow for easy integration of streaming sources, as well as source media from hardwired devices. As with several other models, however, the SB500 does not include HDMI inputs. (ZVOX also offers a model that is geared towards those with hearing aids.
